E-GIVING
In a bold and progressive move at the April East Liverpool High School
Alumni Association board meeting, the Trustees voted unanimously to
institute an e-giving program to allow members and supporters to donate
to the organization over the internet. After a long search, the software
program was found (right in our own backyard) that will permit this
process to occur. In conjunction with our current envelope service,
National Church Supply, we are launching the opportunity and offering
it to our members.
The service will permit our members to give a single gift or to give
the same gift on a regular, scheduled basis. You may choose to have
an automatic deduction from a checking account, savings account or
a credit or debit card. Members may choose to do this as a single donation
or on a monthly or quarterly basis. It is important to point out that
the member has COMPLETE control over this process. The member may change
or terminate the process at any time. The member makes the choices
and modifications when ever the need arises.
To check out the process, click on the ONLINE GIVING link on the www.elhsaa.com website. Once in, you will need to register and create your own personal,
private and confidential user name and log-in. There is no cost or
fee to register and set-up.
After the set-up process, you will be able to choose the amount you
wish to contribute as well as to which fund you want it to go. You
may choose from the General Fund, Perpetuation Fund, Scholarship Fund,
Reunion Fund or Charles Thomas Fund. You will then be able to designate
whether you want to make a single or regularly scheduled donation.
This process is really easy and there are a lot of positive reasons
to do this. For the giver, there is no check to write or envelope to
mail. For ELHSAA, there is no envelope to buy and mail and there is
hope that this will create new and more regular givers for the organization.
Our largest expense each year is the envelope program. This is also
our bread and butter as far as giving goes. It would be a really progressive
move to increase the number of givers while decreasing the expense
in the process. Please note that this program was set up, by the company,
primarily for church use. If you see the word ÒchurchÓ in the text,
do not be alarmed. This will work perfectly for us.
If you are a regular envelope giver now and would like to make the
change to e-giving, please e-mail the tower at Deanna@elhsaa.com to
advise of your decision. This will enable us to remove your name from
the envelope list. If you should receive envelopes after signing up
for e-giving please e-mail or call us at 1-330-385-0591 and let us
know.
Please give this a serious look and consider taking advantage of this
opportunity to help us and provide you with an easy tax deduction each
year. What if 500 or 1000 alums decided to sign up and donate just
$10/month? This would do wonders for your organization. We are excited.
